Strike a Pose

It's been a couple days, but I now have pictures for the next couple days. I went to Herrenhaeuser Garten after work today and took a bunch of pictures. Most of them are of birds.

Mallards are really awesome. I think the green head is incredible.

The Whatchyamajig

I like the lighting contrast between the two sides of the blue object. I don't know...it's just a blue thinger. A whatchyamajig. Perhaps you can guess what, or at least where, it is.

Ein klein Witz

My friend Dan is telling a joke, as usual, on the train. Clearly Cat is enjoying it. I don't know what else to say about this picture. I'm a bit disappointed at how bright the lights in the train are, but I think it doesn't take TOO much away from Cat and Daniel.

This is an old one from my trip to Slovakia with the trainee pool. Its just a random castle we drove past on our way to Bratislava. Hopefully tonight I will have time to make some more pictures presentable for the web. I want to get back on track with this photoblog because I very much enjoy posting.

This is my friend and roommate, Ben. He's sitting in front of a piece of the Berlin wall. He asked me to take a picture of him and I really thought it turned out well. I thought his expression was especially befitting the background...if you know its the Berlin Wall.

I took this picture of the Reichstag in Berlin. It's the central seat of government for Germany. So...like the US Capitol Building, I guess? I like the dark sky since the building appears to be so dark and...whatever.

One day, Touristic and Artistic were walking through St. Louis. By pure coincidence, they met at the Gateway Arch. Both of them were taking pictures. Artistic ran out of film so Touristic and Artistic agreed to work together for a few pictures. But it was a trick. What one thought was a collaboration was actually an instance where Touristic lured Artistic in close with a camera, then punched it in the throat and stomped on its face. This is the result.

I will post better pictures again someday, I hope. I may not be back on a daily basis yet, but I will be after the more important things in my life settle down.
